Basically, 5e silent image has many uses with this spell you can create the image of an object, a creature, or some other visible phenomenon which is no larger than the 15-foot cube. The image would appear at a spot within the range and it lasts for a specific duration. Normally, the image is purely visible; it wasn’t accompanied by any effects such as sound, smell, or any other sensory effects.
You can use your action which is to cause the image for moving to any spot within a specific range. Like the image do changes the location, you can easily alter its appearance so that its movements do appear natural for the image. Here we have taken an example, suppose if you do make an image of the creature and also move it, you can easily alter the image so that it would appear to be walking.
Actually, the physical interaction with an image reveals it to be an illusion, cause things can pass through it. Also a creature which uses its action to examine the image can able to determine that it’s an illusion with the successful Intelligence (means Investigation) check against to your spell save DC. But if a creature discerns the illusion for the sake of what it is, also the creature can see through the image.
