As per this animate objects 5e spell the objects those are come to the life at your command. You can select up to ten nonmagical objects within a range which are not being worn or even carried. Some of the medium targets count like two objects, the large targets count as four objects, huge targets count like eight objects. Of course you can not animate any object which are larger than huge. Each of those targets shall animate and become a creature under your control unless until the spell ends or else until it has been reduced to 0 hit points.
Like a bonus action, you can mentally command any type of creature that you made with this spell if a creature is within 500 feet of you (suppose, if you control multiple creatures, that you are able to command any or all of them at a same time, issuing the same command for each one.) You are decide that what an action the creature shall take and wherever it shall move during its next turn, or even you can issue a general command, like to guard a particular chamber or corridor. Suppose, if you issue none of the commands, the creature only defends itself which is against to the hostile creatures. Once it given an order, the creature continues for following it till its task has been complete.

Usually, an animated object is a construct with AC, hit points, attacks, Strength, and Dexterity determined by its size. However, its constitution is 10 and its Intelligence and also the Wisdom are 3, and its Charisma is 1. Of course its speed is 30 feet; if an object lacks legs or other appendages that it is able to use for locomotion, it instead has the flying speed of 30 feet and even can hover.
If an object is securely attached to the surface or a larger object, like a chain bolted to the wall, usually its speed is 0 then. It has the blindsight with the radius of 30 feet and it is blind beyond that particular distance. Whenever an animated object shall drop to 0 hit points, it reverts to its original object form, and any type of remaining damage carries over to its original object form.
Whenever if you do command an object in order to attack, it could make the single melee attack which is against to the creature within 5 feet of it. However it shall make a slam attack with an attack bonus and bludgeoning damage which is determined by its size. The GM might have been rule which a specific object inflicts slashing or piercing damage based on its form.
At Higher Levels: If you cast this particular spell by using the spell slot 6th level or else higher, then you can animate two additional objects for each slot level above the 5th.
