Traits

Shapechanger: Here the wererat could use all of its action for the polymorph into the rat-humanoid hybrid or else into the giant rat, or even back into its true form, that is humanoid. Anyway all of its statistics, other than its size, are the similar in each form.  Any kind of equipment that it is wearing or else carrying has not been transformed. However it reverts to its original form if it dies.

Keen Smell: As per this the wererat monster has an advantage on the wisdom(perception) checks which rely on the smell.

Multiattack (Humanoid or Hybrid Form Only): The wererat can make two attacks and only one of which can be a bite.

Bite (Rat or Hybrid Form Only): By using this Bite (Rat or Hybrid Form Only) action this monster can make a Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. It also Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage. Suppose, if a target is the humanoid, then it must be succeeded on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be Cursed with wererat lycanthropy.
