Basically, this item usually first appears to be a large sealed iron barrel weighing 500 pounds. Of course the barrel has been a hidden catch, which could be found with the successful DC 20 intelligence (Investigation) check. It is releasing that the catch shall unlocks a hatch at an end of the barrel, which is allowing two medium or else smaller creatures for being crawling inside.
Ten levers are set up in a row at a far end. Each of them are in a neutral position, that is capable of either moving up or down. Whenever the certain levers are used, then the apparatus shall be transformed to resemble the giant lobster. However, the apparatus of the Kwalish is a large object with the below mentioned statistics:

Speed: 30 ft., swim 30 ft. (or 0 ft. for both if the legs and tail aren’t extended)
Damage Immunities: poison, psychic
In order to be used as a vehicle, then the apparatus requires a pilot. Anyway while this apparatus’s hatch has been closed, then the compartment is alright and also the watertight. The compartment holds enough air for 10 hours of breathing, which has been divided by the number of breathing creatures inside.
Anyhow, the apparatus shall be float on the water. It could also be gone underwater up to a depth of 900 feet. Which is below that, the vehicle shall take 2d6 bludgeoning damage per a minute from its pressure.
The creature in a compartment is able to use an action for moving as many as two of the apparatus’s levers up or down. After each use, the lever may goes back for its neutral position. Each of the lever, from left to right, the functions are as shown in an apparatus of the Kwalish Levers table.
