Suppose, while you’re holding a book, then you can easily use it like a spellcasting focus for your wizard spells. Of course the book has 3 charges and even it shall regain 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. You can also use the charges in various following ways while holding to it:

  • Suppose, if you spend a minute studying a book, then you can easily expend 1 charge for replacing one of your prepared wizard spells with a different spell in a book. However the new spell should be of a transmutation school.
  • Like an action, you can easily touch the nonmagical object which is not being worn or else carried and also spend the number of charges in order to transform a target into another object. For a charge, the object could be no longer than 1 foot on a side. You can even spend an additional charges for increasing the maximum dimensions by 2 feet per charge.
