Exile Homebrew Background 5E

Being of this exile homebrew background 5e you have thrown out of your home and probably you may never return. Here some questions to ask yourself as an exile such as; Where were you before you were exiled? What did you do to deserve the exile? Were you falsely accused and if so why? What are the conditions of your return if there are any? Are you over your exile, or are you still torn by it? Do you still have contacts with your old life, or have you been fully cut off? Do you carry something with you to remember and if so to remember what? Your home? Your crime? Revenge?

  • Skill Proficiencies: Persuasion, and Perception or Survival
  • Tool Proficiencies: One type of Artisan’s tools of your choice
  • Languages: Elvish or Dwarvish.
  • Equipment: One Weapon of your choice (typically something from your native culture), travelers clothes, a winter blanket, a pouch containing 5 gp, and a reminder of home (a drawing, a leaf, a ring…)

Origin

Here you’ve already had to have been exiled from somewhere. You must be Considered what your home was like and of course what it meant to you. However you may roll on the below mentioned table to find out your home setting, or else simply select one that fits your character. You can check the table below.

Feature: Echoes of the Past

As per this feature you may have had been forced to leave your past life, but of course it has not left of you. Probably you may have the knowledge about the ways the people treat one another and therefore have been gifted with the skills those are revolving around the quick-witted nature. All kinds of odds that are you can easily talk someone into giving you a hot meal for an evening or probably warm bed too.

Suggested Characteristics

As per these suggested characteristics some of the exiles are take some time to adjust for the sake of their new life, some of the others could adapt fairly quickly and even try to drown out their memories of home. Of course the Exiles might be slow to trust others, however they were eager to make the allies. Some of the the exiles seek only to return home even there is no matter about the cost. So “Are you one of them? “.
